Longtime West Covina resident Robert "Bobby" Joseph Gurrola died on Sept. 25 after a long and courageous fight with prostate cancer. He succumbed to the illness at home surrounded by his family.
He is remembered for a spirit-lifting smile, the telling of corny jokes and inspiring those lives he touched, whether they be family, friends or employees.
"Without him, I do not know where I'd be in life," his youngest child, Cyndi said, also reflecting the thoughts of her sisters, Kathy and Lisa.
